Featured on the cover of The New York Times Arts Section and called by Gramophone "...an exceptionally sensitive pianist", Jenny has earned a growing reputation for her adventurous programming and charismatic stage presence. She continues to receive accolades worldwide as an orchestral soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. Her performances have taken her to venues such as Carnegie Recital Hall, Kennedy Center, Miller Theatre, Myra Hess Concerts, and The Phillips Collection, as well as Festival Archipel, Flanders Festival, Divonne Festival, and Festival Ars Musica, with groups such as Ensemble Contrechamps, the Millennium Festival Orchestra, the National Symphony of Taiwan, and the Flemish Radio Orchestra.

In September 2003, she appeared in a 21-piano concert with works by Daniele Lombardi at New York's World Financial Center Winter Garden tribute to the victims of Sept. 11.

Among her multifaceted activities, she toured last summer with Swiss jazz pianist Chris Wiesendanger and appeared in Elliott Sharp's Orchestra Carbon at New York's Tonic.

Highlights of Jenny's upcoming season include concerts in Belgium, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United States, on the stages of Chopin Festival, Millennium Piano Festival, Solos at the Italian Academy, Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, with orchestras such as Erato Symphony and RAI National Symphony. This August, she will be featured in a new documentary, "Zahara", by Elemental Films Spain.

A leading voice for the music of today, Jenny regularly works with composers - many of whom have written for her. Among them: Sarana Chou, Boudewijn Cox, Donnacha Dennehy, Daniel Felsenfeld, Stefano Gervasoni, Arthur Kampela, Ma Shui-Long, Frank J. Oteri, Daniel Schroyens, Laura Elise Schwendinger, Johannes Maria Staud, Elliot Sharp and Wen Deqing.

Jenny has contributed to the rediscovery of American avant-gardist Ruth Crawford Seeger through her critically acclaimed CD on BIS Records. Her discography also includes "Chinoiserie", a collection of works by Western composers inspired by China; a 50-minute Piano Suite by Chinese composer Guan Xia; as well as Liszt Sonata and Schumann Fantasy. Two more CDs are scheduled for 2004/5; including a series of recordings for the Grammy-winning German label Haenssler Classics.

Jenny studied with Noel Flores at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna, with Julian Martin at the Peabody Conservatory (Artist Diploma) in Baltimore, and with Dominique Weber in Geneva. She has also worked with Richard Goode and Blanca Uribe in New York, and with Dimitri Bashkirov and Andreas Staier at the Fondazione Internazionale per il pianoforte in Cadenabbia, Italy. She also holds a bachelor's degree in German Literature from Johns Hopkins University.

She currently resides in New York City.
